The Supervisor, Programmatic Buying & Optimization will provide an additional layer of support to all Gannett Campaign Managers, Yield and Optimizaiton Managers, Supervisors and the business units they are assigned. Support will include workflow ordering guidance, answering questions around programmatic system capabilities, optimization strategies, and the development of advertising solutions that allow our business units to grow their programmatic revenue.
The Supervisor, Programmatic Buying & Optimization may also be assigned a business unit to support, but that is not the primary focus of the role.
·Order Support – Provide workflow ordering support to Campaign Managers and Supervisors as they provide guidance to their business units on how to place Audience Extension orders.
·Fulfillment Support – Provide fulfillment support to Campaign Managers and Supervisors as they fulfill Audience Extension orders for their business units. This position may also support a business unit, but this is not the primary focus of the role.
·Capability Support – Provide additional layer of support to Campaign Managers and Supervisors when vetting out new programmatic system capabilities.
·Optimization Support – Provide optimization support to Campaign and Supervisors during an order’s run to ensure it is successful for the client and profitable for Gannett
·Manage to Gannett Sales Policies and Priorities: Must understand the sales priorities and business policies set and maintained by our sales organization.
·Handle other essential tasks as assigned.
§Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical related discipline.
§2+ years of working experience in ad serving platforms or ad trafficking. (3 - 5 years of practical work experience in digital technology or advertising can be substituted for college education).
§Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
§Strong interpersonal and team skills.
§Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at once.
§Demonstrated ability to function in a technical role.
