SOCIAL MEDIA: COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

The Community Management Specialist is responsible for building communities online to foster and manage customer relationships. This role manages all customer questions and feedback from review sites and social media platforms and researches and determines solutions for customers. The Community Management Specialist also assists the Social Media Manager with projects and strategic planning.  

The work location for this role is flexible if approved by UniGroup except this position may not be performed remotely from Colorado. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Community Management 
  • Manages all customer questions and feedback for the UniGroup brands across all social platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube) and provide timely responses. 
  • Monitors daily feed of ratings and reviews for the UniGroup brands for agent locations and provides timely, professional, and personable responses. 
  • Collaborates with stakeholders and take a customer-centric approach in crafting responses. 
  • Research community management, social media and marketing best practices and keep UniGroup social media playbook updated. 
  • Advises agents on how to respond to customer complaints on all review sites and social media platforms. 
  • Manage relationship and serves as point of contact with UniGroup social media and review management vendor 
  • Performs analysis and create monthly review and community management reports. 
  • Performs administrative functions to social media management platform. 
Social Media 
  • Sources, vets, and recommends content for brands to share on social media, our websites, and other digital platforms. 
  • Drafts organic and paid copy for brands. 
  • Identifies and recommends user-generated content for brands to share on social media. 
  • Vets relevant holidays and industry days for use on social media. 
  • Performs analysis and creates monthly social media reports. 
  • Schedules social media posts and assists with monthly social media calendar as needed. 
  • Completes additional social media projects and campaigns as needed. 
Education, License or Certification 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, or equivalent experience.  
Experience 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing, communications, PR or a related field 
  • Proven copywriting skills and attention to detail 
  • Experience or interest in crisis communications  
  • Experience with social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok 
  • Experience managing social media accounts for an agency, organization or a brand is preferred  
  • Experience with social media scheduling platforms and social media monitoring tools
