Job Title: Senior Associate Director of Admissions, Upper Division

Reports to: Dean of Enrollment Management
Job Status: Full-time/exempt
The senior associate director of admissions is responsible for the daily operations of the upper division admissions office and serves as the dean of enrollment
management’s chief lieutenant.
In addition to helping design and implement sustainable strategies that achieve the School’s enrollment objectives, the senior associate director’s responsibilities
establishing and executing the annual schedule of admission and recruitment events
maintaining and enhancing the admission funnel communication plan
managing candidate review, file reading, and admissions board
overseeing associate and assistant directors in their management of key aspects of admissions operations (student tour guides,
parent ambassadors, liaisons to athletics and other programs)
interviewing students and working with prospective families through the admission process, from inquiry to post enrollment
developing and cultivating relationships with educational consultants, school counselors, community based organizations and
parent/alumni volunteers in a designated region (travel may be required)
presenting in-person and virtually to target audiences
performing other duties as assigned
Education: Bachelor’s Required; Master’s Preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of admissions experience in an independent secondary school or college preferred.
Skills: Written and verbal communication, marketing and presentation, project management, networking, technology
(MS Office, Google Workspace, and Zoom). Familiarity with Slate is a plus.
Work Environment: Work is performed primarily in-office with some travel (primarily domestic but may require international).
Some evening and weekend hours will be required.
Other Requirements: Ability to satisfactorily complete a criminal background screening and criminal record clearance process.
