Job Title:  Assistant Director of Admissions, Upper Division
Campus:  Pebble Beach 
Reports to: Dean of Enrollment Management

Job Status: Full-time/exempt


In helping recruit and enroll qualified students for the Upper Division, the assistant director of admissions:

  • interviews students and engages with prospective families through the admission process, from inquiry through post enrollment

  • develops and cultivates relationships with educational consultants, school counselors, and parent/alumni volunteers in a
    designated region (travel may be required). 

  • presents in-person and virtually to target audiences. 

  • manages a key aspect of admissions operations (student tour guides, events, liaison with faculty/programs, etc.).

  • participates in candidate review, file reading, and admissions board.

  • performs other duties assigned by the dean of enrollment management.


Position Qualifications

  • Education:  Bachelor’s Degree required. 

  • Experience:  1-3 years of experience working in an independent secondary school or college preferred. 

  • Skills: Written and verbal communication, marketing and presentation, project management, networking, and  technology
    (MS Office, Google Workspace, and Zoom). Familiarity with Slate is a plus. 

  • Work Environment:  Work is performed primarily in-office with some travel (primarily domestic but may require international). 
    Some evening and weekend hours will be required.  

  • Other Requirements: Ability to satisfactorily complete a criminal background screening and criminal record clearance process.

Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience and education level, and includes meals when school is in session.
