POSITION SUMMARY: Must be willing and available to work any shift. The Quality Assurance Technician performs all assigned food safety and quality research projects. Responsible for ensuring quality standards are being met by reviewing quality control checks on product per the Standard Operating Procedure guidelines. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

•Assist in designing of the food safety/ quality project to accomplish established goals •Works with production department to maintain compliance and troubleshoots quality issues, providing feedback and direction, working with leadership to ensure food safety and product quality. •Collect samples from production areas as required. • Assist QA Department in testing raw material or finished products for pH, Titrate able Acidity, Moisture Analysis, water activity and other QA tasks. •Partner with all departments, executing and supporting all Quality programs that ensure the production of Safe, Quality Foods. •Take, record, and or verify weights, temperatures, appearances, and other quality attributes and log all data on required forms at required frequencies. •Insure prompt action is taken on requests made by other departments. •Assist trouble shooting of Tempsys System •Review and Sign Off on USDA and FDA HACCP Records •Plan and Implement CCP Validations as needed •Assist or perform internal and external Food Safety audits •Assist Food Safety Manager in Food Safety Incident Reports •Coordinate Quarterly finished product shelf life, water and gluten testing •Perform Alchemy Food Safety Training when necessary •Follow all SFC Core Values and be a team player •Other duties as assigned SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

•Certification - ServSafe Certification and HACCP •Experience in the Quality Assurance industry is preferred •Knowledge of testing foods such as pH , water activity, moisture analyzing •Knowledge of food safety •Microsoft Office Proficient •Basic knowledge of statistics and food safety •Have knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices •Must be able to walk around facility 8+ hours per day •Ability to work in fluctuating temperature environments of refrigeration and non-refrigeration •Good communications skills What we offer:
