KI, the trusted furniture market resource, has an opening for a Facilities Coordinator at its Corporate office in Green Bay, WI. This role is responsible for coordinating the daily Corporate Facilities operations issues for KI owned and leased buildings in Green Bay. Typical work hours will be 7/7:30am to 4/4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

  • Provide continuous improvement for the preventative maintenance system.
  • Complete preventative maintenance routines as directed.
  • Order parts and materials to make repairs, build equipment and maintain inventory.
  • Assist with management of corporate security system, grounds care, carpet and janitorial services.
  • Maintain the building system (i.e. HVAC system and controls, electrical, plumbing and mechanicals)
  • Provide on-call response (outside of normal working hours, weekends and holidays) to pages, alarms and project coverage.
  • Ensure building systems will not have downtime during normal business hours.
  • Ensure building occupants will not be interrupted by completion of facilities tasks.
  • Develop a department organizational plan and backup personnel.
  • Maintain Facilities Procedure & Cost Manuals for activities performed throughout the year to keep the information current.
  • Review service contracts annually.
  • Prepare and review RFPs for projects as required and requested and recommend subsequent action.
  • Assist with the preparation of 1, 2, and 3 year facility objectives.
  • Assist with the 2-year corporate facilities master plan.
  • Assist with the preparation of corporate facility and administrative service expense and capital budgets.
  • Manage safety standards and procedures for outside contractors at onset of projects.
  • Participate in corporate cost reduction program and contribute at least one cost saving suggestion per year.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's/Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management or a technical certification (Ex: Masters or Journeyman Electrical license).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in facilities or a closely related field.
  • 3+ year of commercial electrical installation and repair preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand basic electrical line drawings, floor plans and blueprints.
  • Ability to do basic cutting, fitting and fabricating.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel; Microsoft PowerPoint and Project are a plus.
