Description: This position requires a high level of motivation, flexibility, initiative and ability to follow through on numerous ongoing projects. Must exhibit a positive attitude and a willingness to help. This position will support multiple attorneys and paralegals across multiple practice groups. Familiarity with a law firm setting or legal experience is preferred.


  • Finalize Estate Planning documents consisting of Last Will, Power of Attorney, Health Care Proxy, Trust, etc. in preparation of signing
  • Attendance at signing to act as a witness and notary
  • Set up appointments with Executor and assist attorney with intake of estate
  • Preparation of deeds, deed transfer documents and affidavits
  • Submission of deeds and other documents to the County Clerk's Office for recording
  • Proofread and ensure quality of legal documents; maintain files
  • Process check requests and expense reimbursements
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail including FedEx and certified mail
  • Maintain calendars and schedule appointments
  • Other administrative tasks as requested by attorneys and office manager


  • 2+ years legal administrative experience with Wills, Trusts and Estates preferred; will consider entry-level
  • Familiarity with NetDocuments, Chrome River, and/or Carpe Diem.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
  • Must have excellent proofreading and attention to detail
  • Must exhibit well-developed interpersonal and client relation skills
  • Excellent client service and listening skills
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities within various levels of the organization
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and independently, as well as coordinate with a team
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Enhances own professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, participation in professional organizations and reading of current literature
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Military experience welcome
