As the senior web analytics analyst on our Marketing Analytics team, you will use in-depth analytics knowledge to understand and optimize the onsite checkout funnel, cart abandonment recaptures and how to convert these users into paying subscribers. You will expect to develop rich understanding of how consumers interact with site and checkout funnel and deliver consumable insights to the Digital Growth team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem solving and be comfortable using complex data sets to tell stories and inform strategic business decisions. The Sr. Analyst will be experienced with Google Analytics web analytics tools, and should be comfortable with both quantitative and qualitative data sources., plus a deep understanding of consumer behaviors related to digital subscription experiences. You must also be able to accept business questions from stakeholders and work with the senior director to determine the correct data analytical approach to address the question. While analysis, charts, and data points will generally be integral in responses to business questions, insights and recommendations as part of a coherent narrative are essential.
·Provide analytic direction on strategies/tactics and help guide Growth team to improve checkout funnel and abandonment metrics
·Build multi-dimensional cross platform performance reports/dashboards to guide our business and allow team members to take action quickly
·Dive deep into Google Analytics data as well as other internal data sources to identify key trends and patterns, analyze these findings, and generate actionable insights to improve our business and better serve our customers
·Answer business questions as they come up to ensure rapid execution from the rest of the team
·Designing, measuring, and interpreting experiments across operations, marketing, UI/UX, and conversion
·Construct methodologies and metrics for understanding customer value to business
·Work closely with other members of Marketing Analytics team to join data sources across verticals to create a holistic understanding of customer and how they interact with our products
●3+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence, research, data analytics, data science, or a related field.
●Advanced SQL skills (BigQuery experience). Optimization of queries of high complexity in large dataset.
●Ability to transform complex data sets into simple visuals, dashboards, and/or PPTs for analytical and non-analytical teammates; can develop actionable intelligence.
●Comfortable telling stories with data and articulate findings to help inform strategic business decisions.
●Proficiency with Google Analytics is a must.
●Scripting experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP a big plus etc.
●Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
●Attention to detail balanced with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well.
●Familiar with digital subscription a big plus
