Job Summary

Cynosure is seeking a Global Product Marketing Manager to develop marketing strategies and tactics to meet corporate growth objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting the global strategy for top platforms while supporting the revenue generating activities for the North American markets (US & Canada). You will be responsible for the product lifecycle management of your products and will ensure that new product launches are rolled out globally with healthcare professional (HCP) materials and exciting promotional activities. You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams to create consistent and coordinated branding and ensure optimal implementation. This position requires a collaborative leader who is excited to drive results in new and innovative ways.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

-Collaborate with marketing counterparts worldwide to create and implement the global marketing strategy and HCP brand guidelines for designated products.

-Collaborate closely with Sales, Field Marketing, Finance, Commercial Analytics, Clinical, R&D, Legal and Regulatory in the execution of the marketing plans and appropriate messaging (claims) for the products.

-Work with regional marketing, Creative and Consumer teams to develop global-branded materials for healthcare professionals (hard copy and digital), including brochures, technical papers, videos, emails, website content, social posts, etc.

-Work with the team to execute all aspects of marketing functional excellence and lifecycle management in North America including capturing customer insights, implementing product strategies, promotions, messaging, pricing, customer acquisition and retention tactics. This also includes product rationalization activities as needed.

-Develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and luminaries to gather information, product needs, and to provide support for existing products (testimonials, videos, trainings, advisory boards).

-Prepare extensive sales support, training and launch packages for effective promotion of product enhancements and new product introductions.

-Support promotional activities at conventions, tradeshows and aesthetic sales & training events in North America.

-Work closely with Supply Chain to manage global forecasts/inventory strategies.

-Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate sales and promotional programs in North America to determine success.

-Drive acquisition of competitor product knowledge and effectively communicate Cynosure’s positioning against our competitors. Serve as internal product expert.

-Identify trends throughout the aesthetic marketplace



-Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related field


-3-5 years of experience in product management or product marketing.

-Experience in Medical Device and/or Aesthetic product marketing is preferred.

-Global marketing experience is preferred.

-Combination of sales and marketing experience will be considered.

-Experience in consumer marketing activities desired.


-Passionate, self-motivated, high-energy individual who drives performance and consistently delivers on commitments

-Ability to collaborate with colleagues around the world to understand their business needs as it regards global product marketing and physician messaging

-Comfortable in a multi-tasking and fast-paced marketing team environment

-Ability to set a vision, create excitement and buy-in from key stakeholders, and develop a clear roadmap for execution

-Proven work experience in product marketing for a global company

-Demonstrates strategic and competitive mindset

-Excellent presentation and communication skills

-Ability to define problems, assess data/facts, draw valid conclusions and create options for a way forward

-Demonstrated success building and influencing effective relationships with team members in other functional areas

This position requires both US and some International travel of 25%-35%
