BASIC PURPOSE:  
 
The primary responsibility of the Receptionist is to answer and route all enterprise–wide, inbound calls appropriately and in a professional and polite manner. The Receptionist will also assist in administrative duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:    
 
Welcome visitors by greeting them in person and/or via telephone in a professional and informative manner and with the highest standard of customer service
Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook and issuing visitor badges
Ensure and maintain a safe and clean Reception area
Utilize console based phone system to direct calls to appropriate personnel promptly and efficiently
Answer questions providing accurate information
Provide callers with basic Company related information 
Willing to work select approved overtime hours on occasion and/or be flexible to alternative scheduling when needed  
Other administrative duties as assigned

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:  
 
Reports to Director, Real Estate & Facilities
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
High School diploma
Minimum 2 years of office experience, preferred
Must have minimum 1 year of corporate switchboard/reception experience
Experience with AVAYA console-based switchboard, preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook required
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job 
Must have a clear and professional speaking voice 
Superior customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills
Outgoing and personable and able to work independently 
Dependable and flexible
Must be able to operate a multi-line, console-based switchboard
Ability to handle several conflicting priorities. 
Work with minimal supervision accurately and efficiently with attention to detail in all work products.
Solve problems in a timely manner through reasoning, and judgment; act proactively to prevent potential problems. Not afraid to ask questions
Access, input, retrieve and understand information from the computer
Work quickly and accurately
Ability to work well with interruptions while quickly and efficiently answering and transferring calls


WORK CONDITIONS: 
 
Employees must possess comfort in learning, training and engaging with others virtually through Microsoft Teams and Zoom. 
Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
