BASIC PURPOSE:

The purpose of our Interview Services is to enhance company growth through the provision of clinical and professional knowledge and support to travelers, client contacts, and in-house employees.  The Interview Service (IVS) RN works in collaboration with Sales Team, Clinical Leaders, Managed Services and Per Diem Schedulers to develop and nurture deeper relationships with health care professionals and client facilities. 

Build relationships with key healthcare facility (HCF) stakeholders at IVS accounts to ensure customer satisfaction with CCS services.  Interview Service Managers will maintain maximum productivity, as demonstrated by performance metrics i.e.: telephone time, interview & confirmation stats, in addition they will provide optimal rapport with all client contacts, at all levels throughout the HCF facility and within CCS. 

This position requires substantial knowledge of the healthcare staffing industry and a proven track record of working with multi-disciplinary teams to provide exceptional customer service.  The IVS Manger will be self-motivated, customer service focused, results driven and have a successful history of working collaboratively within an organization.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develops client relationships within the facilities and work to ensure an excellent traveler / per diem experience
  • Fosters an environment that focuses on excellent client satisfaction with integrated processes and outcomes
  • Have knowledge of all Cross Country Healthcare’s business offerings, expert knowledge of CCS Managed Service and IVS programs (benefits and features) as well as operational processes for Travel Nursing, Allied, Physician / Locum Tenets and Per Diem services
  • Manages initial interview process for all IVS facilities within designated territory to include:
  • Manages initial input/distribution of IVS information within CCS
  • Implementation planning for IVS, following account specific needs assessment
  • Plans roll-out (splash presentation) of IVS accounts in conjunction with AM to recruitment department
  • Manages ongoing IVS processes within designated territory:
  • Review employment applications and interviews applicants while evaluating work history, skills, education and training, as well as other qualifications
  • Matches job applicants to appropriate positions, redirecting, when necessary to more appropriate clinical positions and conducts interviews
  • Informs applicant of job duties and responsibilities, working conditions, schedules, policies, and other necessary hospital specific information
  • Troubleshoots all clinically related applicant questions, seeking assistance from client facility, as necessary
  • Upon agreement, and clinical assessment, offers position specific to hospital, unit, shift and start date
  • Communicates in a timely manner with all recruiters and account managers /executives, as to applicant’s placement or declination of positions
  • Thorough documentation of interview, maintains accurate record keeping, utilizing CCS’s current systems
  • Follow Interview Service process and meet Service Level Agreements i.e.: Review and call within 24 hours
  • Reports issues/ concerns, as well as recommendations for improvement, to immediate supervisor 
  • Work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of HCP’s and HCF’s interview service needs
  • Provides health care professionals with clinical and professional support during assignments to facilitate assignment completion and retention
  • Uses in-depth clinical knowledge, professional judgment, and good business-based decision-making skills
  • Refers potential risk management incidents/issues as needed
  • Provides in-house employees with ongoing clinical and professional education based on the identified needs of an individual or group   
  • Reviews and updates ALL IVS unit descriptions at a minimum every six months, or with known facility changes  
  • Interacts in a professional and knowledgeable manner during conflict resolution with traveler and client to facilitate development of a win-win plan
  • Works with Account Services management team on special projects as requested, to plan, develop and implement QI initiatives
  • Availability for defined territory travel (expected frequency minimal travel, not to exceed 10%), for on-site potential and current client visits as well as scheduled exhibit shows, for:
  • Increasing CCS’s clinical visibility
  • Expanding/growing relationships with current clients at all levels of the Nursing continuum
  • Represent and support the business initiatives of Cross Country Staffing internally and externally
  • Service all internal, external customers and subcontractors in a positive manner always
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/SKLLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales & Marketing or related field. Minimum 5 years’ sales experience required. Workforce Solutions background preferred with Staffing and Healthcare background.
  • Registered Nurse with active, clear, unencumbered license
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in acute care or non-acute care clinical setting, preferable in management, Talent Acquisition or recruitment position
  • Former travel or agency experience preferred
