Warehouse--Team Leader
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES

·        Train new employees.

·        Maintain organizational standards according to 5s compliance standards.

·        Meeting customers’ expectations and needs.

·        In charge of daily labor.

·        Give proper instructions to packagers according to the specific job.

·        Communicate with supervisor & Warehouse Manager on the day to day operations, material needs and employee issues.

·        Promote safe work environment.

·        Record, notify and report unsafe working conditions immediately to department supervisor.

·        Performs other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS (List specific skills required but not defined in Dimensions)

·        High School diploma or GED 

·        Ability to read and understand work orders and packaging specs in English.

·        Ability to perform basic math.

·        Ability to communicate and give instructions to employees in both verbal and written form.

·        Leadership skills with the ability to take charge of a given situations.

·        Ability to operate a computer (basic computer knowledge) and use Microsoft office.

·        Previous warehouse experience. 

·        Good verbal communication skills

·        Must be able to work flexible shifts including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts for new hire trainings, audit observations and remedial trainings.

·        Must be available to come in 30 minutes before shift and stay 30 minutes later after shift.

·        Able to work in a team environment and enjoy working with people up to and including management (direct).

·        Works well under pressure 

·        Ability to work for periods of time without direct supervision
