The Talent Development Specialist is responsible for the managing of all educational projects and programs across the organization. This includes designing, developing, implementing, and enhancing in-person, blended and online learning programs. The specialist role manages learning priorities, projects, programs, and productivity with input from subject matter experts to provide evidence-based learning materials.  This position will be located in Missouri.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Craft compelling learning experiences using instructional design and design thinking principles.
  • Develop interactive, media-rich learning solutions for instructor-led, blended, online and virtual environments.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all programs and trainings for front line, supervisory and corporate audiences.
  • Develop project plans and execute learning program reviews with subject matter experts, senior leadership, and department leadership to secure sign-off at project milestones to keep projects on time and aligned with corporate standards.
  • Act as administrative/coordinating support for assigned classes.
  • Manage the deployment of e-learning courses (Custom and vendor based) related to all corporate initiatives through learning management software.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Training, or Communications.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a learning and development role; 5 years preferred
  • ATD certification, or equivalent, preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to tailor information to a variety of audiences.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and experience effectively using eLearning development software, learning management platforms, and web conferencing software.
  • Ability to manage projects, solve problems, and work on multiple tasks within tight deadlines in order to accomplish objectives.
