As an Entry Level Help Desk Technician, you'll provide support to internal customers as well as home office. You'll have the opportunity to assist our branches while gaining technical experience. This role is vital to the success of our daily operations, in our branches and our headquarters

Preferred Experience:

  • Troubleshoot end-user hardware, software, and networking problems in a Windows / Linux environment
  • Troubleshoot, identify, research, and resolve technical problems
  • Respond to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support
  • Document, track, and monitor the status of a problem to ensure a timely resolution via ticketing system
  • Verify with the end users that problems are resolved
  • Escalate unresolved end-user problems to appropriate tier
  • Install and configure workstation software and printers
  • Provide on-call support on one Saturday a month

Technology Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and applications
  • Working knowledge of computer networking, server to workstation topologies, and connectivity issues
  • Any knowledge of Linux is a plus: configuring network, checking IP addresses, basic commands, Samba, Cups, Apache, SSH
  • 1 year of hands-on technical experience
  • A+, Network+, MCP preferred

  • Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Keen attention to detail is a must
  • Strong sense of urgency, solid sense of ownership, and team player
  • Self-motivated (proactive) and able to work independently
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus

This is a full-time on-site shift either 8AM-5PM or 9AM-6PM Monday through Friday.  Successful candidate must be reliable and dependable in adhering to the assigned work schedule.  Travel may be required based on operational needs.
